Alkermes
In December 2009, Acceleron licensed to Alkermes a proprietary technology platform designed to extend the half-life of proteins and peptides for the discovery, development, and commercialization of products targeting molecules outside the TGF-β protein superfamily.
Under the terms of the agreement, Acceleron received an upfront payment and is eligible to receive additional milestone payments as well as royalties on product sales. Alkermes is responsible for all research, development and commercialization costs.
