ACE-041 (Anti-angiogenesis)

ACE-041 is protein therapeutic that binds a member of the GDF family necessary for angiogenesis. In preclinical models, systemic administration of ACE-041 inhibits VEGF and FGF-induced angiogenesis.

The ability of ACE-041 to simultaneously inhibit multiple angiogenic factors is expected to provide significant benefit to patients suffering from a variety of diseases including Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD), rheumatoid arthritis and cancer.
